This terraced garden space was an unusable mish-mash of retaining wall materials. We unified the structure of the hillside with gabion retaining walls, filled with a mix of natural stone and broken concrete from the site. The gabions help to create curving organic walls that hug the entertaining nooks and allow for water retention and improved drainage.
An automatic driveway gate was added for improved safety and security, and the new hardscaping connects the carport with the house below. Our clients now have plenty of space to entertain, relax, and enjoy the views.
