Walking through the front gate of this hillside residence transports you into a secluded woodland garden. A series of recirculating aluminum water troughs flow down through the garden from the upper entry patio, and the sound of water trickling down the hillside unifies the space. Poured-in-place concrete retaining walls and stairways with custom finishes are paired with pre-cut bluestone pavers to create a contemporary and private wooded retreat for this hillside cottage.
